The Cuban Peewee or Crescent-eyed Pewee[1] (Contopus caribaeus) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is found in Cuba and the northern Bahamas. It was formerly lumped with the Hispaniolan Pewee (C. hispaniolensis) and Jamaican Pewee (C. pallidus) as a single species, the Greater Antillean Pewee.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.[2]
